This is a business oriented forum.
There is a tendency, due to the nature of web communications, for such communications to drop to the lowest common denominator, insults, debate for the sake of debate and bawdy jokes.
This is not the place for that.
Although a minimum of banter and debate is a good thing, and helps us relax in each other's company, when done to excess it interferes with the business nature of the communications, and will not be tolerated here.
If you thought the "Forum Police" were bad elsewhere, in the words of the Prophet, "You ain't seen nothin' yet. No, No, you ain't seen nothin' yet. Bu-bu-bu-baby, you ain't seen nothin' yet. Seen nothin', seen nothin', you ain't seen nothin' yet."
But our goal is not to delete posts or ban individuals. It is to advance our part of the security industry. Help us do it by being responsible in your posts.
As you can see, management is welcome here, as well as commercial locksmiths who do a large amount of institutional lock servicing. Even beginners and Apprentices are welcome, if they are sincere. Some of us are Union, and some of us are glad that we are not. Some of us are in one department, and others in a totally different department. Even our institutions themselves differ greatly.
All these factors mean that there WILL be differences of opinion, and that what works one place may not work as well or at all in another. These differences are healthy and it benefits us all to know that they exist.
But underneath it all lies the real truth...We are all Locksmiths, regardless of our job title. We will always have that in common, and it should earn us each the respect for and of the others.
