This is a resource forum for locksmiths of all types, with a discussion area available as well. Its main focus is on locksmiths with an interest in institutions and their welfare, security and well-being, but all locksmiths are welcome here if they play nicely and behave themselves reasonably (in our opinion).

It is not directly operated by, or affiliated with, any group, organization or association. However, one of its goals is to increase the speed at which the ILA can perform its duties for those in the Western part of the United States, and to encourage the formation of a West Coast chapter of the ILA.

We would like to encourage people to post links to information in the appropriate areas of the forum, to help their brothers and sisters in the Locksmithing trade. Manufacturers, Distributors and their sales people are also encouraged to post links here to their information. There is no fee for doing so.

There is also a "Find a Locksmith" area, where locksmiths can post links to their web pages, and which is divided by State currently. If it gets heavy usage, it will be further sub-divided. If you spot a scammer company using false addresses, etc., let us know by pm to the Administrator or one of the moderators, and we will research them. If it appears you are correct, we will quietly remove their ad and pass their info on to the appropriate regulatory groups for further investigation as they deem appropriate. If your ad disappears, remember we have no obligation to provide a link to your web page, so its removal needs no purpose or reason, and does not imply that we believe you to be a scammer or whatever. We can do it if the background color annoys us first thing in the morning or for no reason whatsoever, and we have not hurt your reputation or marketability in any way. We just have ceased to help it. It was nice of us while we did it. Nothing more, nothing less.

The discussion area is what we refer to as an unmoderated area. By this, we mean thay we empower you to take full responsibility upon yourself to maintain a professional demeanor at all times, and to refrain from name-calling or bad-mouthing any individual, company or product and to avoid potentially libelous or slanderous language entirely.

Unmoderated areas are simply places the administrator and moderators do not spend as much time on as they do the mission critical areas.

An unmoderated topic area is NOT a license to ignore proper behavior, and if we discover what WE FEEL is inappropriate postings, we reserve the right to remove the post or poster without any recourse on the poster's part. No one has any rights on this Board except the moderators and Administrator. If you choose to use it, you acknowledge that simple statement.

If YOU discover potentially inappropriate language or behavior on this resource forum anywhere, pm the administrator or one of the moderators and we will take appropriate measures.

We have no editorial control over ads that appear such as google ads or whatever. We are currently getting this space free so forumotion has rights to add them if it chooses to do so. Apparently, if you help us raise enough money to pay them for the site, they will cease any such ads of their own.
